Synopsis
Set in the rugged Australian outback during the late 19th century, The Proposition tells a powerful story of family, loyalty, and survival. Outlaw Charlie Burns (Guy Pearce) is captured by Captain Stanley (Ray Winstone), a lawman desperate to bring peace to the region. To save his younger brother Mikey (Richard Wilson) from execution, Charlie must hunt down and kill his older brother Arthur (Danny Huston), a dangerous gang leader.
