As of February 2025, the sixth installment of the Jason Bourne film series is in development. Tentatively titled “The Bourne Dilemma,” the project has Edward Berger, known for “All Quiet on the Western Front,” attached as director. While there is speculation about Matt Damon reprising his role as Jason Bourne, no official confirmation has been made. Damon has expressed admiration for Berger’s work but has not committed to returning to the franchise.
In October 2024, reports indicated that Universal Pictures was actively working on the next installment, with Berger set to direct.

However, by late October, Berger provided an uncertain update regarding his involvement, stating, “It’s really not clear whether… I’m doing that film or not,” as he focused on another project, “The Ballad of a Small Player.”
As of January 2025, both IMDb and Mubi list the film under the title “Jason Bourne Exodus,” with “The Bourne Dilemma” cited as the original title.
Despite these developments, official details regarding the film’s plot, cast, and release date remain undisclosed.
